i dont know why but i found audiobahn AS69Q (200 W RMS) sounding PRETTY CREEP in front of TS2150.

see 4 urself:

6" x 9" 3-Way Speakers
200W RMS Power Handling / Pair
400W Max Power Handling / Pair
Frequency Response: 25Hz - 20kHz
Sensitivity: 95dB
Chrome Plated Basket
40 Oz. Magnet
Mounting Depth: 3-1/2"
Audiobahn Window Sticker
Swivel Tweeters
Removable Tweeter for Remote Mounting
Black Carbon Injection Cone
Butyl Rubber Surround
2-Layer Hi-Temp ASV Voice Coil
4 Ohm Operation
Polyswitch Tweeter Protection Circuit
Complete w/Grills And Hardware
Flush & Surface Tweeter Mounts

Everything seems to be so perfect, high RMS, high sensitivity (95 db) etc. But they are FFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR inferior (both SQ and SPL) when it comes to sony XSGT6936 (60 W RMS, 90 db) or pioneer TS-6991 (80 W RMS) or pioneer TS 2150 (50 W RMS i guess).
I am TOTALLY against this brand....i bought it after reading few reviews, wasted some $ 200....and can guarantee it SUCKS!!

what you mean long time back! I had 5" / 1" components in my Premier Padmini car in the 80s. Fortunately I had fled the country when these speakers invaded.

And as far as cassettes go B&T you should have heard what a good cassette deck could do. I mean one with a S/N of 70db and Wrms of less than 0.1%. As late as 1995-6 this deck competed with most of the CD based HUs. It had a 2 motor drive (one for capstan and one for the 2 pinch rollers).

I guess that today you can get a good pair of Coax at 4K that will offer better balanced sound than those helmets.

panky, is SPL your only judge. I have not heard the 2150. I cant even find one to hear. but if they sound nicer than the JBl 636 I want a pair.

i had these ikkis pachaas in my palio which got totalled. navinji, these speakers are not that bad. they are far better IMO than the current pio speakers. also when i switched to infinity ref 6x9s, there wasn't much difference sq wise. it was quite good at spl. i had these speakers(i had 3 pairs lol, 2 were lying unused) for like 7-8 years. this is my opinion about these 2150s so dont need to take it seriously.

cheers
