I put this in the ICE section because it concerns ICE.

For those of you booking Honda NHC CVTs and Vtecs. Please ensure you get the Alpine 9826 or 7 instead of the 9843 or 45.

The details are in a long gory story that shall be left unprinted.

NHC GXi comes with factory fitted 9845. Anything serious with model of Alpine?

Are you use it is the 9845. I was told that the Gxi has a 9843 and the CVT adn Vtec have the 9826. The 9826 is a much nicer machine than the 9845 and since most Honda dealers have them insist that you get yours. If you dont they will palm of a 9843 or 45.

I also think 9826 is better than the 43-45s. But why would Honda like to push more of 43-45s?? I think the 43-45s are expensive than the 26-27s! Or am I wrong?

Whatever it is, dumb those OE speakers which comes with all the Hondas including the CRVs.
Those are really a shame, Honda!!

hey i am pretty satisfied with the front speakers i got with my nhc exi,in my personal opinion the sound quality is good.!

Dude... Chill... If you like them, keep them. You dont have to buy or change anything to meet our approval.

That said, everything sounds good in isolation. As and when you feel the need to upgrade, listen to some good speakers in your car and you will know what you've been missing all this while.

sir ji its just that i was not aware that the speakers are of low quality so i was playing them at full blast which must have damaged them a little but i will only upgrade after they will become totally useless.!

You dont have to do anything because it satisfies you.
I was just mentioning the bad quality of the speakers while we were discussing the HU thingy in Hondas.

And as phaaji said, you don't know what is good sound until you hear one. I know of some guys who are very much enjoying their BOSS setups and Local assembled fake systems thinking those are the best audio systems in the world. And for them it's true because that's the best they've heard and it also suits their tastes.

There was a time when Indian coffe house's coffee was the best in the world for me, then Coffee day happened and then Barrista. And I still miss my cafe at Johannesburg.

faithless1984, if you like what you hear, then do not change it because of others' perceptions. actually, you are one of the lucky few, who are actually 'satisfied' without changing anything. it is a good thing. so please do continue enjoying your music. remember the music is more important.

arrree i have alrdy posted what i meant by my statement.

that is i will only upgrade them when they will become totally useless which is bound to happen soon as they are not of good quality and i was playing them at full blast.!

Arrey Faithless don't worry when you blow your speakers give me a call I have the OE speakers of my car lying with me & they have NEVER been used. You can put them in you car
