What about 6300 for the Pio 5990 with B&W. He had the box with the warranty card, manual and everything else.
That cant be a fake right ?

AFAIK it should be around Rs. 8,000 with B&W minimum. Either you have a very generous dealer, or there is something suspicious going on.

Saw one installed in a Spark recently, the screen displays the Album artwork (if present) while playing a song & looks fantastic!

^ how much does this come for?

I saw the Blaupunkt Melbourne in their showroom and think their pricing is terrible. A HU without CD playing ability should be much much cheaper than regular CD/mp3 HUs.

@vebmetal Do you think 3050 for the GTO937 is ok ? Ive seen people quoting 2800 for the same on this forum.
And what do i look for if i want to make sure an item is not a fake ?

Thanks

Hi,

I happened to see a panasonic Hu in action today, its Model No was 7405 or something like that. It was a bit 'flashy' but nice. Official price was 12990/- with B&W.

Any idea about its grey price ?

How are the panasonic HUs in terms of SQ and reliability ?

My experience with Panasonic has been good, both in terms of SQ and reliability.

hi guys,

any suggestions on a HU / spkr combination for a safari. have about 10-12k to spend and normal source of music is the i pod beamed into the system or less often the trusty fm stations on offer!

use a kenwood setup at the moment on a palio, only problem is that various speakers seem to stop of their own accord every once in a while (sometimes resolved with a resounding thump above the hu on the dash!) - any ideas why?

i am jbl loyal when it comes to speakers, use them for work and at home and am not overtly fussed about b&w for setup in car.

If I had to shell out that much, I'd procure a 9887, better than Pio SQ IMO.
