Default Change of plans, Clarion to Alpine

Hi,
Finally gotten frustrated and almost given up on finding a dealer in mumbai for Clarion DXZ576USB. I am now trying to locate one for Alpine both with B& W and Grey prices for the Alpine 9887 and also a reliable dealer for the same.

Will someone please put me out of my misery.

Thanks.

Any opinions on "double din" head units with USB support, something in 10-15K bracket ??

In-dash LCD though hard to find but if available will be an added benefit !!

1. From what I know, that budget won't get you a Pio/Alpine etc. You may get a JVC for that price.

2. From what I've read on this forum, 1-DIN HUs are better than 2-DIN HUs with respect to performance.

In-Dash Double din comprises of a 6"-7" LCD in-built in the Head Unit... Some such units include Touch/screen and Bluetooth which are otherwise higher end unit, for dialing and receiving the phone call from the Head Unit only other the LCD can be used to view Flicks and movies on the move as normal LCD

Something of this sort

> 1. I too understand the same, but increasing a budget bit and getting a quality product is more worthier according to me. So I am also open to increase my budget.

> 2. Though you are correct in a way, but i don't like the empty slots in my Dash, At a point of time i am also Also considering AVX800 which is in cost bracket of 19K-20K, which i'll not mind paying for which i am getting in-dash LCD + a Bluetooth/Card Reader/Touch screen thingy.. but thats the last option and obviously the budget's tight point
