I posted this in a new thread, probably thats why it never turned up.

Anyways, can anyone suggest to me what is the best price for PIONEER 7950 HU in Bangalore/Kochi? I heard that they are available for as low as 9.5k. True
? If so, where can I get it at these places?

How is the 2950? Are there any issues with it? I am looking for a simple basic CD player which sounds good - not looking for anything more.
Will the 2950 satisfy my reqs?

The shop I went to had Pioneer 2990 - not 2950. Any opinions about the
2990?

If I want a basic HU (capable of playing CDs - anything else is a bonus but
not a must) what should I go for? It should be easy to operate - I should
need to read a manual to understand. I don't want to throw a party
in the parking lot using the stereo.

Also, I asked around only for prices of a HU & 2 pairs of co-ax speakers.
Do I need to pay extra for the wires also????? If so how much? Is anything
more than basic wires reqd.
