Most Pioneer HUs with motorized panels have some problem or the other. Though I have the 7950 now, I use a 4gig pen drives as source and leave the panel in peace.
Security naam ka hai , I realized this the hard way when my HU was stolen in Feb this year from the "Guarded Compound" .Belive me if i had an option I would not remove the face plate everyday, cant afford another robbery currently.

Uh-oh. Remember those old anti-theft HUs? The ones where the the whole HU used to slide out? Try to fabricate something like that. Swift's being a 2din slot, space shouldn't be a problem.

Sure sir will get back to you once I have the solution with me . .On a serious note the problem currently is nothing major but my HU being grey market worries me .After a few months vinay may refuse to even look into it ...

@nikunj - Just reset your HU once and see if there is any improvement. Mine had some quirks which went away after I reset it.

@ Nikunj - IIRC, when you remove the face plate, you'll find a small round button recessed in a hole. Use a pen/pencil tip to press it.

^^I called up Vinay of Glix today and he quoted 11K for the 7950UB sans the bill and warranty...then I told him about the prices posted in this forum...he said that he will confirm and get back to me...
He further told me that JBL 937 speakers for the rear should come for about 3.5k and 4" pioneer/JBL speakers in front would cost another 1K...

i don't think so had mailed crutchfield.com regarding this and this is what they mailed back"Thank you for your interest in shopping with us. Regrettably the Alpine stereos we sell only feature US tuning. You may want to look toward purchasing a stereo from Blaupunkt, Eclipse, or JVC as these brands offer the greatest flexibility in AM/FM radio tuning.
Please let us know if there is a model that interests you. If so, unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping, but if you have a friend or forwarder here in the US, we might be able to get an order to you that way.

If the product is intended for use outside the US, please note: warranties for the products which we sell are not valid outside the US, and the shipping cost for returns and exchanges from outside the US would be the sole responsibility of the consumer. There may also be compatibility issues with foreign power/voltage standards as well as foreign video standards."
