even models with bill and warranty like 5090 have usb cable coming from back ie no usb in front

Funny how the *090 range is available in bill and warranty

As far as i know pioneer products; its the *050 range that is officially availble in india with bill and warranty , the *090 range is for other asian markets and we get it here in india ONLY in grey
You should really check if that bill and warranty on the *090 range is genuine

Look up an Autocar issue to find out the authoirsed distributer for pioneer here in your city ( ive forgotten the name) call them up and find out which is the range for india if ur gonna buy B&W

No, not the cheaper ones (DEH series). They don't read DVDs. Any model starting with "AVH" however would read DVDs, but you will be paying much more for it as well.

If you want a DVD-mp3 kind of hookup, then I believe there are some JVC models that Gunbir once recommended that do this. I believe they are called "gigamp3" models or something like that.

I was recommended their name by an installer . His reasoning was that since they receive so much stuff from all over they barely have time to set it up on display let alone tamper with the lens and other HU components .
I checked at Alfa Stores (Irla). The guy told me that they dont stock any other brand except Sony Xplod

I think is not officially available in India. And it is very rarely seen in grey also. One can get it against order for aprox 22-24k.

hi,

just wanted to check if my Ipod 2nd gen Nano will work with these systems. I have version 1.1.3. And also when we get it connected to these pioneer systems like 7950 or 5050, does it show the whole file management system starting from Genere, Album, artist etc???

Thanks.

Why is the 6050 on the Pioneer India site?!?!? I thought the one released here officially was 6090!

Default life of remote batteries

The batteries on my remote (4050) ran out in 3 months flat - after about 3 or 4 days use. It this to be expected?
