Hey guys.. while surfing on ebay.in (previously baazee.com).. well,I came across a seller selling a Rs4,75,000 amp !..official with warranty..just wanted to share that page with you guys !

My seats will fall out of place, my ear drums would pop out, the battery will drain in minutes, the alternator will cook itself in minutes, I'll be thrown out of the house

Coming to the price, I saw a blau amp at a dealer for 1.5L he said it is a digital amp class d or something.

man nice amp but 475,000.00 is an over kill. can get the same amp rating for around 1 lac.

@harrie :class d digital amps are mono blocks only for subwoofers. have low distortion levels

wow.....i am amazed......what an amp!!! it seems really really overpriced for a 120W Rms amp!! i think after installing this amp, the windows of the carwill have to be reinforced (another 25 grand atleast)....so one will end uo spending 5 lakhs...

i dont trust if the specs say it is 5000 rms.... who permitted them to manufacture and market such product.... and one thing more..5000 rms amp will take a truck battery in 10 minutes with ease.. let alone the cute bat in your bumper....and u will need the body of a hummer to support the vibrations.... screws and bolts will come out ....... also, its overpriced.. this cost is not possible even if u use gold pins inside..... 150 grand max....

though i dont mind getting it as a gift .... will install it in a room at my place...with accoustically blocked walls...then, team bhp can have a blast with rockin numbers.....

5000 Root Mean Square?? Are we talking sense here? A true 30 watt RMS amp with 8 ohms speaker at full power will throw one out of standard size room. RMS rating will change if it's driving 4 ohms speaker set up. It will be more.
By and large car audios are designed for 4 ohms (impedence) speaker systems. This is essentially to get more volume (as sound) from a small amplifier.

It's true that more the power, better the frequency response....but for a car audio 5000RMS sounds like a big hype.

Anyway our friend member cream can throw more light on this...Cream are you there?

Alright guys, here's the official JBL website with that same product..
The product is being sold by the ebay.in seller for Rs4,75,000..and well,it's for US $6,000..plus sales tax(8%)..so,I guess the price is right for India considering it's officially imported JBL product,Customs Tax/Duty paid with 1 year official JBL India warranty.

it does say 120V rms on the site which i reckon means W and is mis-spelt, because it cant possibly be 5000 RMS, it is physically not possible to build let alone install such an amp in a car

gentlemen, i have seen an amp of 1000 R M S.. ( yes, i mean it).... it was nowhere the size of a car amp and generates more heat than your car mill......... these types of amps are used in rock shows.. generally, they are multiple amps giving a total accoustic power of 1000 rms, or amybe more..... 6000 w =475,000.... give that money to me...i'll make the amp myself.... and buy a car...or maybe exapnd the budget of my new one

and sir, i beg to say 6000 w aint too much...depends upon your music choice and passion ( u can call it tolerating power)...

i think it reads 6000W RMS@12.5V and 7500W RMS@14.5V in the add on ebay.
