Hi friends, Nilesh here from Pune. I have Pioneer music system (DEH-P5550MP). I want to go for Bass tube. Here in Pune I have hardly heard about Bass Tubes. The locally made is available (SUMUKU). But I don't want to take cance with my musuc system. Can you please suggest me , My budget is 7-8K. 1. Which Bass tube should I go for? 2. Which parameteres should be checked before? 3. Where to get it? Thanks Nilesh

Ofcoruse if you are nutty like many of us here you'd add 2 amps one 4 channel amp and 2/1 channel amp. the 4 channel amp would drive your speakers and the 2 channel amp could drive 2 small *" subs or be bridged and drive one big 12" sub.

and my guess is that the rear speakers drown out the front? right? where do you go from here? what size of round speakers in the front? the 6x9 speakers in the rear would make quite a bit of bass. if you want more boom add a 12" free air sub and boom you'll wake the neighbourhood. if you want defined/refined bass you got to make more changes...for example i would get rid of the 6x9s if i could afford that. let us know about what you want and i am sure someone will be there to assist you with models, prices, etc... Sam, JB, Gunbir, Aseem, are you listening.

hey i got one mad idea.... the 6x9 are equivalent to a 8". Now I know they are not designed as sub woofers but they might provide enough bass for your needs. Get a pair of nice components for the front 4K. Get a 4 channel amp like the sony 504 for 4K. then modify the 6x9 to act as only woofers by switching on the LPF filter on the 504 (if ti has one) for the rear channels. what say guys?

if you want to replace the 6x9 and get more boom just get a sub and an amp. there are plenty available. you cna get a good sub for about 4K and power it with a 2 sony 502 channel amp for about 2.5K. use the HU's amp for the front.
