This was mentioned in my user manual of Ford 3.2 Titanium. Hope this is present in Indian model and this feature is not skipped by Ford India. Is this a type of ARP?
Yes, this is a type of ARP system. But there lately seem to be many differences between what is mentioned in the owners' manual and what is provided in the actual Endeavour 3.2 Titanium, and I wouldn't take Ford's word for it.
