Default Bengaluru to Papparapatti route query

Hi,

We are planning to leave early on Sunday morning and head to Papparapatti to attend a family function. Need help in choosing the road.

BLR - Hosur - Rayakottai - Palakkod on SH17

or

BLR - Hosur-Krishnagiri- Right turn just before Dharmapuri on NH7.

We need to get there around 7:3O AM.

Regards
Srini

Sticking on the NH7 would give you the advantage of driving on 4laned roads till Dharmapuri from where P'patti is just a 15km ride?

While I agree with Ranjit that Dharmapuri/4L would be faster, the SH via Rayakottai/Palacode is good too.
Couple of weeks back I was on that SH and it was fun driving through the SH with minimal traffic.

But you wont find any decent place to break. You have to carry your own food.
