Default Temporary Highway Shutdowns

I am starting this thread to report temporary road shutdowns or other problems.

A the moment NH92 is closed just outside Etawah due to some critical repairs on the bridge on the Yamuna. Expect to be opened again towards the end of the first week of October. Two wheelers are being allowed.

NH75 (NS corridor) is in a very bad state esp. around Datia in the Jhansi-Gwalior sector. Need a SUV or a car with high ground clearance to negotiate.

At the moment there is no decent way of travelling from Kanpur to Gwalior. Three possible routes -

Kanpur - Etawah - Gwalior NH92 as above.
Kanpur - Jhansi - Gwalior NH75 as stated. This road is EW-corridor + NS corridor.
Kanpur - Agra - Gwalior Major roadworks due to overbridge construction at Dhaulpur. This is on the the NS corridor.

Indeed Mera Bharat Mahaan!

I have just got feedback that the Overbridge at Dholpur on Agra-Gwalior is done. My nephew was able to do Gwalior - Delhi in four hours.

Just got information about the NH2 - NH92 route to Gwalior from Kanpur. The road is now first class all the way though most of NH92 is two lane only. Only the last 10km or so leading into Gwalior (Maharajpur Airport to city) is in a bad state, but is being four laned. So this bit is also being fixed.
