An instruction sheet describing which of the above has to be used for what will be indispensible for any young blood in the trip. One wouldnt want a noob mistakenly using a silicone sealant for the usage scenario of a condom.

Manali wont be a stop, it will be Ropar, from where the climb up to manali starts, this way in single day(9 hours) you can do Ropar-Keylong/Jispa, and you don't even have to encounter maddening traffic of the plains.

Very true. Would'nt want that some one to use the adhesive tube (a.k.a quick-fix) instead of the silicone sealant

The Tavera might.

The innova should make it without any issues. I have read about Maruti 800 making it there.

Check Navin Gulia's web-site (navingulia.com) for photographic proof. He says it's a 18 year old M800 !
