How's this route

Guys - help needed

How is the condition of this route now

BLR - Hassan - chickmagalur - Aldur - Balehonnur - Sringeri, Hornadu

Planning for a weekend drive to Sringeri, Hornadu.
Which is the best route pls suggest

With elders so pls suggest good roads.

It's excellent. Some of the few remaining good roads in the mountains lie on this route beyond chikmagalur.

There are perhaps a couple of other threads discussing the very same B'lore-Sringeri drive. You can perhaps continue there instead of adding one more thread on the same topic. Only a suggestion.

I did Bangalore - Chikmagalur recently and here are my observations: Bangalore-Hassan is good except for a few broken patches near the towns. Hassan town roads are atrocious. Hassan - Belur (36km) is a dream drive, which you'll love. Belur Chikmagalur is decent, with some broken surfaces.
