17th april, Her majesty Vasundra Raje decided to visit Abu on a two day tour, on closing day of Polo Match that is held here annually.

People had lot of problems regarding road use and oneway etc. but that was not the point. But look at the brighter side, each and every poth holes, illegal bumps, non-working street lights was replaced or repaired the day before, for which people were submitting complaints for more than half a year.

man! you would have been awstruck to watch our alsi muncipal/pwd worker turned into german workhorses.

This is the condition of a A grade city of rajasthan, Imagine the condition in Jalore or barmer or any other place for that matter.

You have an inactive municipality. You should take a trip down to Udaipur. The roads are world-class, the streets are well-lit all night long, and even the smallest and oldest lanes have no garbage on them.

Same thing happened in my locality here in chennai. When the CM was to visit some flood affected area, all the speedbreakers were evened & potholes patched up. Come every month, I'd say.
