My Favourites:
1. Hubli - Yallapur - Ankola
2. Munnar - Kochi
3. Gundlupet - Gudalur (ooty road)
4. Hunsur - Nagarahole - Kakkabbe - Virajpet (coorg)

7. Shiradi
8. Sagar- Gerusoppa
9. Udumalpet - Munnar

Thunderhead at sunset from Dharamsala (Mcleodganj) up in the mountains looking down toward the south. If it looks a little strange it may because the camera is higher than the cloud which is out over the Beas river and the plains.

@DirtyDan: That pic is awesome! Looks ominous! But are you sure you're higher than that cloud?

@Nithin: Beautiful pics, bang on the theme!

Wow guys, the locations are just stunning. My dream is to experience this country in all its hues and shades before it's time to say goodbye.

well zaks, how old are you? you have to be very young to fulfill that dream. every nook and corner of this huge country of ours is beautiful. when will you start and when will you finish?

I'll be happy if I see just the south before I die. there is just so much to see even in this corner.

@nithinnarayan- my compliments to your friend. and thanks to you.

Hatu peak is a must drive for a person who likes to drive. Do it at night and it is even more awesome. Incidentally it is used as base station for wireless communications on day one of the Raid as it is the highest point and overlooks the three / four areas in which most of action happens.
Would be fun to stay the night in that guest house.

RK, while all these guys are trying to figure out Hatu, I would like to know where those 'effects of monsoon' pics are from!
I quite enjoy such wee adventure once in a while!

If all goes well (ie roads are not closed), I'm planning my monsoon trip mid-July for Jalori and suburbs!

BTW, is this the same place where during summers the local cricket matches are held?
