Default Chembur - Titwala directions

How do I get to the Titwala temple from Chembur, Bombay?
Are the roads good? How many kms? How much time?

Proceed on eastern Expressway from Amar Mahal towards Thane.
After entering Thane (Mulund Check Naka), keep going, take all the flyovers you see, on the Nasik Road.
6=8 kms from the check post, you will come to the Bhiwandi Bypass Toll Gate, which you must cross.
12 kms from the toll gate, you will come to a junction, where the RIGHT points to Kalyan, left to Bhiwandi, and straight continues to Nasik.
Turn RIGHT at this junction towards Kalyan.
3 kms down this road, you will cross the Ulhas River bridge just before Kalyan town.
Take a LEFT here - straight goes into Kalyan.
Go down this road 1-2 kms and you will hit a T-Junction, where you must turn LEFT (right goes to Kalyan again).
You are now on the Kalyan-MUrbad road.
You will cross century Plant at Shahad, and wothin 10 kms, you will come to a small junction, (immediately after a smaller Ulhas River bridge) where you turn LEFT to enter TItwala.

From Chembur, the journey should not take less than 1.5 hours.

Thank you, Kumar - are the roads good all the way?
Also, how far is Vajreshwari from Titwala, do you know?

Great roads all the way, a friend of mine had driven to Malshej Ghat on the same route 2-3 weeks ago.

Vajreshwari is in another region altogether. For that, you have to come back to the NH3 junction (Kalyan/Bhiwandi).
Instead of turning left to come to Thane/Chembur, go straight into Bhiwandi and join the Bhiwandi-Wada road.
Vajreshwari is off the Bhiwandi-Wada road.
You can return to Chembur via Bhiwandi, Thane

You can also go via vashi

take a right at mahape on the thane -belapur road ,keep going towards shilphata..you'll cross dombivli(outer) before you hit kalyan...

then proceed on the road which runs along with the railway tracks ( cant remember what road name is that) that leads straight to the temple

that road is a single lane though

somehow i feel going by local train is best ..catch one from kurla all the way to titwala station ,from there the temple is hardly 10 mins...

once you there in the temple ,say my hi to god
