Traveling alone to Ladakh in August - info needed

Hi friends,

I have been following this site for a lot of my traveling information, and it has been very useful to me.
Now, I am traveling alone from Bangalore to Ladakh for a trip of 15 days. My itinerary is this:

Day 1 - Bangalore to Delhi flight. Depart to Manali at night by volvo
Day 2 - Stay in Manali
Day 3 - Depart to Keylong in bus
Day 4 - Reach Leh
Day 5 - Stay in hotel - get permits
Day 6 - Leh to Nubra valley
Day 7 - Nubra valley to Leh
Day 8 - Leh monasteries sight seeing
Day 9 - Leh to Pangong
Day 10 - Pangong to Leh
Day 11 - Do some shopping in Leh
Day 12 - Start to Keylong in bus
Day 13 - Reach Manali - stay for night
Day 14 - Manali to Delhi by overnight bus
Day 15 - Flight to Bangalore

I have some queries about hiring taxis in Leh...

1. Is it easy to find shared taxis to Nubra and Pangong in Leh? As I am traveling alone, I would not want to pay for an entire taxi myself...
2. I am planning to reach Leh by mid August. Will it be easy to find guest houses to stay there once I reach, or should I book beforehand?
3. Is the Srinagar to Leh route good/tension-free now? There was some curfew in Kashmir sometime back. How is the situation now, or should I stick to Manali route?
4. Is decent accommodation easy to find in Pangong/Nubra? Will it be possible to get it as a package with the taxi to these places?
