Default Ford Ikon Flair - Is it worth it ??

Have seen a Ford Ikon Flair -

Silver colour, Bangalore registered , January 2006 car with 5000 kms on odo .. and with complete service records and papers...and no accidents / major scratches ( some minor ones on the bumpers and door )

Asking price is 4.5 lakhs .. Is it worth it?

good deal or not would highly depend on how you plan on purchasin the car, on loan or outright.
interest rate on a used car is usually higher than on a new car.
so eefectively the amount you save on buying a one year old car would come up against you in terms of the additional interest that will pay.
And you will not even get you choice of colour, freebies from the dealer, etc
Infact if you aregood at negotiating you might just be able to clinch a deal not far away from 4.5 lakhs.
