Thats a complete hogwash. Look at the engines Mitsu India provides you with. Noting rally about it.
Well it depends on usage and how an owner treats his car. I have seen Honda's clutch last for as long as 80,000kms. Longetivity of parts depends on usage not just by brand.

It would be really helpful if you could space your sentences better, its quite hard to read like this.
I sold my Lancer for 3.55 lakh that also because I had to close it fast

and later one guy offered 3.7 lakhs

Rally is not only about engines It is also about suspension ,
build , handling. When One needs to rally all cars are modified and Cedia

has a greater potential for it and also has faired well

Gaurav Gill uses a Cedia and a few more who rally in India and abroad use

the same platform
We can put in a Evo 6 7 8 9 engine straight on to Cedia without (major )mount mods

It does not matter what you put underneath single or double wish bone ... anti roll bar .. blah blah..proof of the pudding is when you eat it

Here is a Comment from a young Civic user
quote "when pushed its like it has noodles for springs bloody soft n too much body roll

also the tires n brakes r crap n there is no torque

its nice to putter around town though, very comfy, like a sofa

i know it sounds stupid but i bought it for the dashboard" Unquote

Cedia engine has been re tuned to 200 + Bhp.

It has been de tuned in India for Milage

The feed back for parts life is from a service adviser who worked in Honda

and Mitshubishi dealership

Spaced better ????

Peace

Agreed. But its a 50-50 you know. But co-exist to do well at rallies. Not otherwise.

So how many Cedia's are taking part in our rallies? And what is the competition that they have? Fiesta's? Baleno's? Besides I hope you do realize that rallying involves a lot of mods. Besides, I don't think the Cedia is running the stock suspension for these rallies or anywhere close to it. Correct me if I am wrong. I am talking from the POV of an end user.

Very true, the car bounces around on uneven roads. And feels faster than what the speedo indicates.

Crappy tires are a standard Indian trait. Brake feel specially ABS has a different feel to each of these manufacturers. One needs to get used to them. Once you do braking is pretty good. Though its more like On or Off.

Thats a honda trademark with a capital 'H'.

So is the civic, and almost every other car in India. Its a pity though.

That I am sure is a complete hogwash. It cant get better than Honda when it comes to parts reliability or longetivity.

being driving a cedia for 1.5 months now and 1400 kms. kicks a**. its such a dream to drive. i dunno about rally's and stuff but its a dream on city roads and even the dirt tracks like the one that connects BG Road to the BMIC in bangalore. test drove the civic from dakshin honda before buying. drove it more than 35 kms. while its such an awesome car in terms of the driver side of the cabin, it just isnt there in terms of handling, acceleration and driver feel. also i didnt find any good colors. the cedia sports trim in red is an absolute stunner when compared to what is available right now in the indian market. maybe a civic sports in red would be too, but i dont see it. and hence.

^^I'm not sure if 200bhp is possible on a 4G94 motor thats present in the Cedia without turbocharging. I've been doing up a bit of reading lately. The engine in the lancer in UK is a 4G63 not a 4G94. Those can potentially do 200bhp NA. The 4G94, elsewhere its rated at 125bhp @6000rpm. In india its detuned to 115@5250rpm.

The good news is that the cedia can take 4G63 /4G63T and the associated tranny etc without any mods as its sold with that in many countries . That motor has been tuned to 800bhp+ by many drag racers. So if anyone is really serious about pimping a Cedia, better do a transplant to 4G63 or 4G63T . The 4G94 motor is pretty hopeless by comparison.

Default Brand New Cedia-1.5Lakhs Cheaper

Guys,

There was a post on one of the networks i am a member where someone from Hyderabad has won a Mistubushi Cedia as a prize and not interested to retain it cannot affort its maintainenace. He hasnt even taken the delivery yet. And, is willing to sell it at 1.5L less the prize of the brand new vehicle. If any prospective buyers of Cedia, its a good chance to pick up a brand new car at way to less price.

PM me for the contact number so you can talk directly.

Mods, please move the post if its not in appropriate section.

Look at the irony of the situation. I got my SFX 1.5 in 2003 for 10.81

Are these Photoshoped? In the 2nd one, the antenna looks like it is piercing the sky as a cloth/paper with some dents visible
