Yes, I agree with REIGN, should be around 5.5 lacs, Infat even 6 as it is a very very good car, CRDi is a very fuel efficient engine and very good performance wise.

Only thing you should keep in Mind is that Accent Viva CRDi is not selling a lot nowadays because of the launch of Verna CRDi, so you can get slightly better bargain on it. Please TD the car yrself or better have it checked by a mechanic, because not many Viva CRDi owners want to part with their cars especially only 1 yr old models. I checked carwale and i was surprised when comparing this with the price he quoted. Thats why, I wanted to check with you guys. Around a lakh rs difference!

Hi,

Check for any colour variations in underbody/exteriors in sun light. Also check the weather strips if lose, then we cna assume that the car might have been damaged........5.3~5.5L is a good price if the car is good and undamaged (w/o dents)

Since this car price OTR ( in bang and Hyd, its same) is 7.85 Lakhs and has run only 10K ( check the genuinity) and and assuming it is June'06 then it fair for the owner to expect 6.5 Lakhs ( approximately 20% on showroom price would be depreciation per annum and he may have also paid the next year insurance ( check on that too) which is a lump of money ( i think around 18k or something)

Like its rightly said, production is stopped for this car and somebody selling it away in one year is a bit fishy, check the reason too. If you are satisfied with everything then just go ahead and pick it up, viva crdi is an awesome machine. Incidentally, even i have a Oct'06 Viva CRDI

sgmuser the car may be good but production has stopped and the shape is outdated with no safety featurs like abs or airbags and i am sure in 6 to 9 months the warrenty period will be over so i strongly advice you to buy a new swift D vdi with abs and airbags for the same price which will get you a new car good power with full warrenty abs airbags very good fuel economy with much better safety features

Dockap, the only issue wif SwiftD is the rear seat comfort. I need spacious CRDi. Getz CRDi is the best bet, but no one knows when its going to come out. Thats why.

I was offered a viva crdi at 6.9 lkhs( on road price) in november 2006 by hyundai car dealer. So i think a vehicle which is no more produced( hyundai has stopped accent diesel production) should be around 5,45000, only if it is in good condition.

Swathyd: 6.9 OTR? Thats a good price. I would like to buy a new one then! Is it readily available in the showrooms? I hear contradictory info. When I called Hyundai showroom in Chennai, they said simply no!

Dockap: Getz CRDi next month? thats a good news for me. Any one confirm pls.

swathyd: oops! sorry. But I heard from someone that there are few units of CRDis left in some of the Hyundai dealers, but whereever I enquired, I could a reply of no more stock only :-(
