Did you find the trip meter? If you press the trip reset button it toggles between trip and odo. Almost all car's with digital display have this mechanism.

Thats taking cost cutting too much!

On the postitive side, NVH could actually improve with some thick carpet job!

I couldn't find any meter, of course i didn't get inside the car. But i could not make out any meters in that console. Maybe it is black & lights up only when you turn the ignition.

which model did you sit in? I'm even more surprised if they removed the meter from the lower model. Was there a digital LCD display between the tacho and the speedo like pugram's car? There's a pic of the dashboard in pugram's post showing that.

Esteem Lover: The Trip meter and odo are available in the LCD screen that lights up at the first turn of the Ignition key (When the heater in the diesel version comes up). And the funny part is this LCD is capable of displaying all the info (Like distance to empty.. etc), but has been disabled. I noticed only one resettable tripmeter available (2 available in the Xeta)

CrAzY dRiVeR: No carpetting anywhere else other than the cabin. Actually you expect a plank or hardboard sheet in the boot. But that is also not there. Only the black carpet, thrown on the spare wheel.

Nice pictures pugram and congratulations on the purchase. With 2 Logan owners on the forum, we should get better insights on this car. One thing I did get till date was Mahindra appearing twice on the boot badges "Mahindra Renault" and "Logan by Mahindra"

Hope to see an ownership report from you soon.

Nice colour, pugram! Congrats.
if you have already started to like the looks, then you will definitely love it once you drive the car. engine note is much better and softer than the indigo but a nvh level is a tad higher than the fiesta, but i am sure that it will settle down once she puts in few kms in the odo.

if you are the kind who likes the car for its engine and driveability then you will definitely like this, instead if you are looking for fit/finish and other bells and whistle, look elsewhere.

a few other minor irritants i noticed...

1. very small rear view mirror, its really small.
2. cabin bulb will light up only if you open the driver side door, no connection on the other front door.

Looks like there are too many minor irritants on this car. I hope mahindra will take care of that soon.

Pugram, the car has finally arrived. Congrats on the buy. As for the wheels, either get the hubcaps, or else upgrade to alloys. These wheels looks really plain and dull.

I also agree with the part about the door pads.

Congrats on your new logan. How are the ergonomics of this car? I read in mothshut.com that the drivers side foot space is very cramped. any comments on this?
