Hey guys,
spoke to my bro again today.
The car has to be a sedan, he will moslty not be selling off his Getz so he is looking for one car only. around 8L.
Since his travelling will be even more increased now, he is looking for the following -
- Good FE
- Low Cost of Maintainance
- comfort as he would be driving long distances, on the highway, often in the dark.
- Space - He would be transporting quite a few things and would need the additional space.
This is along with the previous requirements.

The Verna would be cost effective but the fiesta a much better overall buy.
And guys, how about a second hand elantra CRDi or Accent CRDi with some accessories?
Any other diesels expected within that budget?

Hmm, a diesel sedan for 8 lacs that has good FE, low maintenance cost, comfort and space:
Ford: you know better!
Hyundai: Better performer both on and off the highway, spacious on the inside, not terribly inefficient either. My advice: Look no further.

another option (just an idea that grew on my head): a second hand Octavia - this car is built like a tank, has unrivalled boot space, offers nigh unreal FE figures, but can get a little costly to maintain sometimes (second hand info, the last part i.e.).

There you go, hope that was useful.

FORD: No I don't? We own one and my dad wants another fiesta.

Hyundai - Good performance, space and decent FE but crap brakes, cheap interiors, smaller trunk and the fiesta's ride and handling is much much better.

Second hand Octavia - high maintainance cost is scary and Fiesta FE should be better.

Hey guys,
my bro's almost decided on the Fiesta.
His running is qite a bit and is only increasing.
His Getz has done 20Kkm in a year, that's more than 50km/day and this is when he used it around 80% of the time.
Now guys, a question.
Does the Fiesta EXi come with speakers?
Are there any other accessories that should be put?

Want a Petrol car below Rs. 6 lakh OTR in Rajasthan.

The Car must be a 3 box car. Will be mainly used for ferreting employees around the City. Will be sometimes used by us. Some highway use too, but not much. Show room price upto 5 lakh or so.

Would prefer local service in Ajmer. Dealers only for Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, (I think Ford has a service center).

Shortlisted:

Ikon
Esteem
Indigo
Accent
Suggest Any other??

Which will be the best?

Hey guys,
as my brother was travelling and fell seriously ill in the middle, he still hasn't bought a car.
Here's a question. Will a 30Kkm done Hyundai Elantra CRDi solve his needs?
It is bigger, more powerful, safer.
Also what would be a good price for one in Mumbai?
Other option is the new fiesta diesel, either the exi or sxi.

^^Don't think they are available any more. A few dealers here and there might have an odd car in stock but thats about it.

@tsk - won't it be an old car that would be lying in the stockyard for a while? Also, would you happen to know of any dealers having this car in stock in Mumbai?
The main things I am scared about is the reliability and maintainance costs since the car is discontinued.
