A pre owned CRDi? Good luck finding one. I would choose the Octavia. 2002s go for around 8 lakh odd. Another reason not to buy Elantra, they burn in hell, or the highway, whichever comes first.

Go for the octavia...but like ported head said...there wont be too many elantras in the used car market.

Even if you do find an elantra...the octavia still scores.

it will be very difficult for u to find an elantra in the used car market i guess.
even if you find one, my vote still goes for the octy. it is a gem of a car; great ride superb handling, very good fuel efficiency, great build quality, etc. i would say it is a near perfect car in that range.

Octavia for all the reasons given by deepakhon . Elanrta doesnt come close. Except for that CRDi engine, theres nothing in the Elantra really

If we were talking brand new cars, then maybe the Elantra would do better, but in the 2nd hand market, no way. Besides, i'm not sure if you'll find any Elantras in the used market except for a few burnt ones.

I would also suggest you to go for Octavia 1.9 TDI, its a far better car than the elantra.

Whether you are buying used or new it HAS to be the Skoda Octavia.
