Angry

Even I have decided same, if I get good deal with Baleno then thats it !!!!
but if not then gona jump down to Xing :((

I am currently in Bangalore, but my brother verified this today at Thane dealer and he is not ready to come down anything below 6.25L onroad for Lxi. I guess I need to hunt other dealers once I go back to B'bay.

I more question though, how is maint. cost of Baleno and are spares very costly ?

Will find out the price of spares in a day or two n will post then, but spares arent too expensive, first they were expensive, but maruti has been steadily cutting prices along with the price revisions of the car itself.

Got 20K cash discount so onroad price comes to 4.47L and after long negotiations gave me 5% off on total financed amount(3.43L) instead of 4% usually offered. With this finance discount, effetive Interest rate is about 7.25%.

Don't think it is as gr8 as it was in the month of Dec'04 but decent enough for me to go for it.

Guys Need your help and advice.
As i mentioned, I have booked santro Xing XS. dealer told me, he does not have my choice of color in XS. So he said he had placed factory order on Monday and expected to get it on 28th (monday) abt. 1 week time.
But today whn I went to dealer to chk the status, I was told that Hyundai has stopped shipment of all cars till Budget is out. Offcourse I was not happy as it is going to delay delivery for me. But he was defending himself and telling me "This is first time Hyundai has stopped supplying cars during budget time and they did not have any clue abt. this, hence coud not inform me earlier".

Not sure if anybody has idea about this or is dealer trying to play some tricks.

Please suggest....Thx

Its true, read in newspaper as well. seems Hyundai is exporting everything and not able to meet domestic demand.

Guys,
Some more updates. Finally after about 4 weeks I will getting my Santro tomorrow.
Good thing is...Dealer told me I will be getting EIII and not EII (and no additinal cost) !!

But have another problem, according to dealer he has received my Santro in his stock but he has not received Invoice for the car(from Hyundai) and hence he cannot send it for registration till he gets Invoice.
I am not sure how can Hyundai send car without Invoice and how can it travel all the way from Chennai to B'bay without Invoice.

I am thinking of calling Hyundai Customer Care but I do not have the numer. Can anyone provide me number ?
Also your comments / suggestions are very much welcome here.

Thats wierd. Dont think customer care would do much about it.
Go to the showroom and confront the dealer and ask him to show you your car which he claims to have in stock.

It could be anything....

All you know...the dealer may have an argument about the dealings with the finance company...so he maybe holding up your car. This happened to me when i bought an indica....it was delivered almost 2 months late.

But do go to the showroom, take down the details personally of the car blocked for you by the dealer...inspect the car carefully, make notes of the chassis no, engine no. And on delivery make sure you check those numbers so that you know its the same car you saw in the showroom or stockyard.
