| At 2500 kms per month, diesel might make sense and since it is mainly in Mumbai, my suggestion would be the Fabia (top end) which would have almost all that he needs and also be compact enough for predominant city use. |

| At this price range, I definitely would suggest the Optra Magnum - whether he intends to drive or be driven, it is a great car. Ask him to take a test drive! |

| Senior - BHPian | My vote also goes to Optra. Interestingly I see so many optra in Bangalore than a Aveo or UVA. |

| Optra Magnum has to be the best choice. Since A** was not his priority Optra gets the upper hand. Its extremelly comfy, awesome engine and has all the goodies. |

| Senior - BHPian | What about the maintenance costs. Is GM Still offering the 3 years maintenance free in mumbai? |

| Senior - BHPian | Why dont he look at the ultimate comfort machine the Innova. If he is ok with its looks i guess that should be the car for him. If he is looking for a sedan. For Comfort i guess the Magnum should be the car. Else he could settle for an Octavia. If he could live with a hatch. Ask him to look at the Fabia higher version. You get some real goodies in it. Its also one of the most comfortable hatches. All the best and let us know. |

So, if you are regularly servicing the vehicle, i don't see any other cost you would be in need to pay for the car. GM ads all says this is free. but almost all dealers put a cost to this. Either you get this free or get 13-15K discount for the car. So, I would say this comes at a cost of 15K maintenance plan for 3 years. | |

| BHPian | For the 2500 kms running, it warrants a diesel. In the 8-11 lakh price range his options are: 1. Toyotal Innova 2.5V - should just about fit the budget, I believe 2. Verna Diesel - powerful, must opt for the one with ABS 3. Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi - not so powerful, but capable 4. Tata Safari VX - great VFM, niggling issues attributed to TATAs 5. Chevy Optra Magnum LT - stonking performer, good maintenance package, poor resale |

Doesnt like the suspension Fiesta : Already Had 1 So the confusion is now between Optra Magnum and Fabia He wants the car with ABS Airbags and lower maintenance I have recommended him the Magnum, What do u guys say? |
