I already own a Swift Vxi. This is for a second car in the family. Eqipment level in Indigo CS TDi are not even 25% of Accent Executive.

When i was finalizing between SX4 and Verna, Hyundai guy offered to go for accent since it was VFM. I did lot of findings and accent was certainly a steal but i realized i was not able t quench my thirst of a big vehicle and settled for SX4.If you budget is around 5L and you are OK with old decade style then right choice buddy

It really is a VFM car IMHO, and at that cost it comes with all comfort features not available in many other cars as a standard fitment.
BTW it still costs 5.87 on road here in Bangalore, and the reason I did not pick accent Exec is also detailed in my thread mentioned above.

The fuel efficiency is around 10.5 kms to a litre of HP power, this is after it has done about 1100 kms till date. Just got the car back after the first free service.

Regards,
Hari.

This poll couldn't've come at a better time.

Accent Executive doesn't have ABS though. It shud've been there.

As it will be a second car, Accent is a great fit. I dont think buying accent as thje only car in the house hold makes sense. Even if Hyundai phases out accent in another years time you will still have their service backing, three years earlier when some one is buying a first sedan on a budget less than Honda City, choice mostly was Accent or Ikon. Both are still good cars, most issues have been sorted out and they are still improving interiors.

Hi,

Its a great car, I was looking for a CRDi around Oct 07 and finaly settled down for the Elantra CRDi. It has great road characteristics and decent seating. Ground clearance is just ok. rest is great backed by Hyundai service.

Team,

I just Voted Positive for the Hyundai Accent...because it truly is a Good VFM car.

I just love the car overall for the price that its being offered...not that Ive not driven other cars .... we have an Optra as well as in the family but there sure is a difference in both , the 1500cc 94bhp power in the Accent is sufficient enough to enjoy long drives comfortably yet effortlessly , the AC is one of the coolest I have experienced so far. Seating is comfortable , the Tilt Steering makes my driving very comfortable and team ...you might not believe it but the Cabin is extremely silent till today ( 5yrs now ) with no vibrations or noises coming from the Body shell whatsoever inspite of the brutal conditions that it has endured so far.

I have now redone the Body paint and the interiors and also done a major service on the engine after running it for 80K+ kms...as I know that it will still serve me graciously for years to come.

Once again a true VFM.

Cheers,

Peter.

Yep, its a real value for money car, just go for it.

The Executive version is really good, specially the interiors.

The design of accent still looks fresh,

Don't worry about the phase out, just crack the deal

Also, think also about the company fitted CNG kit, and take additional 3 years warranty (2+3=5 yrs) for peace of mind.

Accent executive at this price is very good value, though it is 8years old design but it still looks better than Logan/Indigo/Dzire.

Interiors were once best in class, space is decent, engine is punchy compared to the competition, suspension is silent though a bit bouncy at high speeds and very good resale value.

hey akashm
i would say yes its great value for money. A close friend of mine just bought one with the CNG kit and is happier then this NHC gxi.
what i feel the pros of the accent are inspite it being a decade old:
silky smooth, decent looks, great powerband for city and highway, good ride quality.

only cons i can think of is: if you dont get the CNG version a little bit of FE issue and that its a decade old.

But again at 5.1 lacs its a steal! if it meets your requirements go for it.
