In other words, a button which the driver or any of the co-passengers can press and voila....... the boot opens

Both the Ikon and Accent are good VFM.

Between the Petrols, I would say go in for the Accent as it offers more space, 60:40 folding seat for versatility, roomy interiors, 1500 CC, etc.

But between a Diesel and a Petrol, for the similar price range, close your eyes and go in for the Ford.

One warning though, not sure but I have heard from many people that the service of Ford is not that good and spares for Ikon are not easy to get and can be hard on the pocket.

Correct me if I am wrong guys.

Can you re-confirm whether the seats can be foldable?

Driven both and owned Ikon 1.6 in the past.

In the current offering, Accent is a better buy, though both are VFM. The quality of build on an Accent is superior to Ikon.
