The City surely would be more powerful, spaceous and comfortable than the i20.

I just asked him to spare a thought about the i20 - thats it!
And i10s are for people lower in the financial ladder!
I guess we have not had a full fledged comparison on i20 vs sx4 (they are different segmets anyway), so 'far far better' - well lets leave it to the reviewers.
Didn't mean to stir up any arguments.. I guess I should have been clear on what my requirements.

@Blackasta - I am impressed with the i20 but the price is too high for a hatch back.. We already have a swift which is an absolute work horse in the family.. So I am not looking at hatchbacks.. Nevertheless, thank you for the suggestion

@Jigbarai - Nothing against the SX4 but I would like to overlook anything from the Maruti / Suzuki stables..

@Guna - Thank you for the feedback

@anilkalvani - With the distance traveled each day - Diesel seems like the most cost effective option. One up for Verna

We usually sell our cars in 3 years and or around 60,000 kms - whichever comes first so resale value is of high importance. I guess the VERNA takes a beating here

Snob value and MOD's (Accessaries) - Gives the CITY a boost.

Please feel free to share your views with the on the above in mind

With your comments, its pretty much decided sir.

City AT it is.
Cant go wrong here.
You just have to select the colour now

Finances aside, the Verna will never be able to match the new city in almost all aspects. And the excellent Honda resale would take care of the initial price differential.
