After reading so many threads for so many months (15+) but without confusion. In first instance I was dead sure that my next car would be ANHC but then only because of pricing constraint switched to Fiesta 1.6 SXI. TheBeastFieast@ First of all congrats on finalizing JOSH machine!

Now about additions & deletion part -

- You rightly siad about Logistics, it should not be there.
- Avoid Ford cushion as you can't remove it to wash so buy it from outside. I also searching for good beige cushion for my machine.
- Go for anti-rust before monsoon & that too from 3M. Instead of this go for sports peddle.
- Go for Spoiler which you likes.
- Ask for Waxoyl coating inside+outside+underneath [whole should cost 9K so bargain for the best & at the end if dealer does not agree then settle down for external coat only. ]
- About ICE I am not the expert so here other gurus can comment on it.

Rest upgrades like tyre/film is fine.

Check seat belt cover which costs 111/- as I bought it today because all complaining about sharp seat belt edges [Specially low height people face this problem as the belt touches there neck]

Beast, that's a comprehensive list. I envy your Faridabad ex show room price and registration rate. I am getting my Fiesta next week and I paid a bomb in comparison.

I doubt if you would get any of the accessories mentioned for free, but you can always drive a good bargain.

Try and see if you can get the 3rd year warranty (~5k) for free as well.

I will have a look of ford cushions and then will decide, the only reason going for ford cushions is having Ford written over them. (I like looks )

Ouch, how could I miss the sports paddle, they are going to be there definitely.

What is this -Registration = 12,999 ? (is this money payable to the dealer for doing registration formalities with RTO?)Rs.6.99L including Road Tax - I presume (since you said OTR).Your dealer seems decent as he is openly giving the Insurance offer andexchange Loyalty bonus ( I have seen many dealers are playing with this two item, especially trying to cheat customers on the insurance offer which is from Ford but dealer try to collect insurance amount and give some freebies instead)

@nairrk, yup after reading all the fiesta threads seems the dealer with whom I am negotiating is ok - ok.

In first negotiation he has asked for Car Price (6,99,000), Registration (12,999), Logistic (5,000). I will bargain on not giving the Logistics.

He has agreed to pass the free insurance and corp discount (15,000) and antirust & Teflon coating. I will try to swap the antirust / Teflon with something else.

I will bargain on Exchange Loyalty (10,000) after reading posts.

Finally I will ask for some freebies like scuff plates, sports paddle, cushions & Essential Pack (beige floormats, mudflaps, bootmat).

Lets see during final negotiation how its goes.

@ TheBeastFieast, be careful with the spoiler. the genuine ford spoiler doesnt have a brake light.

also, i was quoted the following prices for various accessories. See attached file.

Also, Shajufx's thread contains a list of various accessories from ford. The prices may vary from city to city, but you can still get a sense.

I still not understood the amount i.e Registration 12,999/-?
When you say On road car price Rs.6.99L , then this Rs.12,999/- is being charged by the dealer towards expenses to do the registration??.
I did registration for my car through my agent (RTO) and extra expenses for this was
only Rs.750/- (this includes agents fees and some extra payable to..) I paid only the showroom price of the car to the dealer.
The RTO Registration fees will be less than Rs.550/- (In my case it was only
Rs.350/-). Please double-check !

Hum.., This is confusing for me, The dealer with whom I negotiated seems to be very smart, they have already added the 5,000/- towards logistic, which I now know should not be there.

I dont know 6.99 is OTR or something else, what I know 6.99 is Ford price but what is included in it I dont know. I am still learning . What is the difference between Ex. Showroom and On Road (OTR) price?

Could you please let me know what should be the car price (base + Registration + Insurance) any else ?? I think the base price should be same throughout the country.
