Congratulations on your new purchase.

The colour looks great. Hope you start a new ownership thread and share your initial driving experience.

How did you arrive at the return after x years value? Let me consider the Swift in your example. You initially saved 352,000 Rs and after 4 years, you got a return of 478,000? So, the 352,000 became 352,000 + 478000 = 830,000? That's some interest rate.

Or did you end up with a total of 478,000 after 4 years which includes the 352,000 (interest = 126,000). If this is the case, the calculations at the bottom are wrong. You don't end up with 673,000 more if you bought the Swift instead of the City

There is nothing wrong with the ABS light being on when the hand brake is engaged since the indicator is common to both. This must be the case when you clicked the pictures.

It is the airbag/SRS light (if car is equipped with airbags) which will come on when you turn the key. It will flash a few times and then go off. It is then that one should crank the engine - ideal case scenario.

Of course ABS and handbrake signs are different. ABS sign appears and goes off and handbrake sign remains on till you relaese the handbrake.

Thanks for the USB clarification. One my acquaintances told me that his old iPod was not working on his car (iPod otherwise fine). A photo from the top maybe?
