I thought you would settle for the Fiesta, and you did.

See the second or third post of the thread

By the way congrats on the car, who gets to use the sports version? You or your better half?

We didnt go for the sports version, we stuck to the SXi, which is the premium version, the same as mine. The S version would have been fun, but my wifey preferred luxury to fun

Siddesh,

That Ikon really looks good!

I didn't know Ford had a 'sports' version of the Ikon. What exactly is it?

Damu, Ford has given it a similar treatment as what they did to the Fiesta in the sports model. Cosmetic changes (spoiler, allows etc by default), a harder/sexier suspension, some changes to the engine/exhaust to make it growl more... overall, a "sportsy" feel to it.

And it has worked wonders.

Siddesh, sounds very interesting! Hunted around the forum, but couldn't find any owner reports on this one. Can you give us a first impression report?

Regards,
Damu

Pick the all new Honda city, You wouldn't regret it. Its any day a better car than a fiesta and probably you would trade it with your wife after you buy it (watch out). Happy TD'n

Visaster, difficult for me to like the ANHC after having driven Fords for the last 10 years. I did check it out, it's great inside, and yes, does drive better than the NHC, but I am not sure it's a done deal against the Fiesta

By the way, I drive an Endy...

Go for the Altis in case you have a driver and are not looking at the excitement of a driving experience personally. Its a car which scores above average at every criteria but is king of none.

Cheers.

@druberoi, at 16L or so, I would rather have two Fiestas or go for a Laura with a couple more L thrown in. The Altis seemed heavily over-priced for what it gave me.
