Brilliant is the word. My driver is going there for sure. The price isn't bad at all either. Good initiative by these guys.

Very unique service, thanks for sharing.

I hope they do a good job and are able to sustain the business. I'm reminded of Vericar (link to thread (Anyone used Vericar for second hand car verification ?)) which offered such a valuable service, yet eventually folded up.

I hope their business model isn't dependent on individual car owners, cos it wont get them anywhere. They must pitch to high volume corporates.

Honestly, I won't be sending my chauffeurs over for their training because:

- 6 grand!

- All I want from my chauffeurs is timing discipline, don't talk too much and to take care of the car. They are doing that reasonably well

- I'm not too sure about the quality of service from these guys. Will need to hear of more experiences before I'd take the plunge (if at all)

What I'd be more interested in is this:

Quote:
Our Recruitment Service Charges:
Our recruitment service charges is equal to the one month salary of the driver subject to a maximum of
Rs. 10,000/-.
This includes a FREE one year Training and Grooming Program valued at Rs. 5400/-
If they can supply a good, well-trained driver, the recruitment fee is TOTALLY worth it. Link to their website

Gotta love the second last point. Turnover is so high in the driver market.

Is the payment to be made in full, or over a period of time (as the training progresses)?

I infact fear that all drivers under one roof will only create job shifting after hearing each others salaries. This could turn counter productive.

Would I would like to know is their focus on improving driving skills. There doesn't seem to be much focus on that.

Won't the driver after becoming a certified Chauffeur, demand more salary?

May be they'll leave the jobs of people sending them there and join Audi and Mercedes

By the way for what reasons do these dealerships need chauffeurs for?

Probably for the potential customers. The dealership can offer the recruitment package free.

Volvo had a similar program to train the truck and bus drivers initially. Not sure if it still exists.
