| Today I got the mail from ticketgenie to book the tickets which I had reserved for the Metallica show. They say that reserved tickets are open from 16th to 20th, after that it'll be open to general public. I do not understand this reservation funda at all. I'm still in a dilemma whether to book it now or wait a few days. I hope the prices are same even after they are open to public. |

| I remember that ticket genie had earlier announced on their facebook page that for people who had made early reservations, they would get the ticks at a lesser price of 2k. But it doesn't look like that now, I had reserved it early and now when I log in with my reservation code, its at 2750 itself. |

| Boss, my 2 cents - its not worth haggling a couple of grands for something like this. Trust me I know, a felt the Micheal Jackson show was overpriced and did not go - life time regret. I travelled in the drivers cabin, for the Roger Waters show. Still have the ticket...LOL |

| I just booked the tickets myself. I asked my friend if he had got them for 2000(early bird special) but he didn't. Looks like all tickets are general admission. But should be worth every penny! Can't wait for 30th October. Metallica! Yeah!\m/ :-D |

| Another Metalhead reporting \m/. Some of the bands i listen to are Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Dimmu Borgir, COF, Slipknot, Mayhem, Korn, Rob Zombie, SOAD, Dio. Most keep fluctuating but Metallica and Megadeth are permanent fixtures in my playlist. Have booked tickets for Metallica in Bangalore. Was planning to drive down from Mumbai, wanted a roadtrip kind-of experience for it. |

Amazing. he doesnt play the guitar, much more like pleasures it, if you listen to the sounds. "One man army", holy bloody awesome! With prodigy, a masterpiece, just try it in your favourite sound spot, and tell me you didnt want to turn the volume all the way up! |

Somehow then slowly, I started feeling them too harsh. (My tastes changed I guess!) Quote:
The Holy Trinity of metal voice "Bruce Halford and Tate". The instant I saw that signature I was reminded of this! ![]() Queensryche was fabulous with De-Garmo. But some where beyond 1997-98 they lost it. Mindcrime-II was not good at all. Even the presence of Dio could not revive it. The Original Mindcrime and Empire were killer albums. I have a DVD of the live mindcrime (Operation Livecrime) and a DVD 5.1 Audio of Empire. Even today get thrilled listening/watching them. Now that you reminded, I will put them on! Ahh Satyricon! Nemesis Divina is one of the best black metal albums! They have since dropped the medieval music themes and are focusing more on a black-n-roll sound. Brilliant band! Satyr and Ihsahn(from Emperor) also did a medieval music side project called Wongraven. Not metal but quite good. | |
