try to use AVG antivirus, software, its free and so far I've found it to be very effective against Trojans......not sure how to bring back your connection though. But this is good once everything is fixed...found it be better than Norton or Mcafee

Blue Boy (now we know why!)

Download the following:

Zone Labs Free Firewall

AVG Anti Virus

Spybot Search & Destroy

You cant find a better compilation of free defences.

And try to stay off Porn - stick to Torque Curves.

Hey guys, a big thank you for the help!

1. Zulfikar: Trend doesn't seem to like me. Or they like my viruses. They said my system was clean

2. So did Spybot!

3. AVG didn't update definitions too well. Said the source file itself was corrupted. Funny, since the source was their own server! BUT, it scanned my system (took 30 odd mins), came up with a list of bad-looking things, and healed/deleted them.

So now my comp is running fine (I hope). In case there is a problem, I will post again.

Thank you so much, guys.

Now back to Silvia Saint!

ok here is some information for new users.

when you buy a microsoft OS it is microsoft's liability to give upgrades and security according to the US law.

Hence Microsoft constantly gives security upgrades.

For eg. If you have a trojan problem then go to microsoft and type in trojan in search and you will get the software to clean trojans up.

Hope this helped.
