Hi Prowler, what happened to the kitten?

Happy to see the thread back in action. Today, I saw a German Shepherd (properly groomed one) walking around Powai Lake Homes. It didn't have a collar either. And neither could see anyone walking by and this guy looked all alone. Wish I could have taken him; but a lack of a proper residential space with a lot of time none to take care of the dog is pulling me back from having one.

A quick check - is any of the Mumbai bhp-ians associated with any organization for the welfare of the strays (dogs / cattle / cats)? I used to see a badly infected puppy - can't see it anymore near my office; there are still a bunch of malnourished ones.

Just want to know what are the options of such animals being referred so that those are taken care of or even nuetered. Doesn't make sense to see those keep multiplying, with no one to take care of.

What a lovely pic of your Alsatian pup yawning!
I love this breed and always have, right from age zero. We've always had atleast one Alsatian at home ever since I can remember.
Lovely dogs. Real darlings, with their big ears and furry faces and extreme loyalty!

I might not be of much help in this regard but you can contact this person. Have seen him responding very promptly to things like these. He'll take care of them till some one comes forward to adopt them.

Really appreciate your kind and helpful nature!

Thanks. I felt happy when you got the breed name right. Many mistake it for German shepherd.

I always feel my Daughters are safe when it is around. It has more attachment towards my elder Daughter.

Could you let me know the difference? I recently saw a show on NDTV(?) YouTube channel about breeds and the anchor said its (Alsatian & GS) all the same.
