The Vikings bit is fine, they were great sea-farers, but it made me slightly queasy to see you mentioning Huns in this connection. The closest they are likely to have got to the seas is passing by the Aral Sea, the Caspian Sea, later, the Black Sea. They were nomads of the steppes, originating, according to some historians, north of China; these accounts link them to the people that Chinese annals called the Hiung Nu, people who had a major influence on Indian history in an indirect way. So the original Huns would have been queasy - like me at the moment - if not downright sea-sick at getting on board a ship on the high seas.

Unless you are referring to the British using the term 'Huns' about their rivals in two world wars, the Germans. This was pure slander. Ironically, the Germans, or derivatives of those, originally stopped Attila's hordes at the battle of Chalons (Theodoric the Visigoth king leading an alliance including several Germanic tribes and the Romans of Gaul against Attila). Several centuries later, they stopped the Magyars (another steppe people falsely linked with the Huns) at Lechfeld, under King Henry the Fowler. The British really weren't being very fair.

These 'Huns' did, however, have battleships. Big ones, some think better ones.

So you now have the choice of names narrowing down a bit, if you want to retain a link with the sea. Have you toyed with the possibilities of Rowving, which (etymology apart) a Viking did rather endlessly; or, if you prefer being a little more up with the times, Rowking? You could set off across the Atlantic with that, or be idle on the Isis, casual on the Cam, or shake a leg at a disco, or annoy Judge Vyas, who doesn't think people should use royal titles any longer, all at one fell stroke. Do keep us posted.

Mine is a stupid reason.
I was typing my first name as username and by mistake i pressed tab instead of enter and my computer auto-filled in part of my email id (since it starts with my name as well). I didn't realize this and i clicked submit.
Since then i'm stuck with it and can't change it.

I'm plain unimaginative when it comes to username, as can be seen from my username. I generally use 'cyanide' on almost all other sites where I'm a member. That nick was shamelessly stolen from a fellow Counter-Strike clan member when we broke up.

Heh.

Written with tongue parked firmly in cheek, out of pure mischief. And I hope it was taken in that spirit too.

I wish I could write as a hobby. Who'd print this bilge?

You never know mate! Try narrating history with the same tongue-in-cheek style, and you'll have history duds like me interested!

PLUS! It's the fastest way to make enough money to buy your fav supercar

I lusted for a Mondeo for years (when I could not afford one). Then a few years back my Fiancee encouraged me to stretch myself and buy one. Now I own one and nothing is more pleasurable for us than to toy around with the brute and drive around the country, read up about the Mondeo and meet other Mondeo owners online and offline.
Now what else does do we call ourselves but Mondeo Maniacs
