have you seen the latest Yamaha Ray ad? they show everything else but the machine itself. its almost like they're advertising her bum!

Yamaha Ray - just another Scooty with Deepika on it!

In spite of watching the ad a few times, everytime I see the ad, for the first few seconds I still don't get for which product the ad is. Yes, the bike has Deepika on it- she has to sit at the rear seat to get her legs tucked in.

I think their marketing team forgot that the target segment is not men

Doesnt need any advertising. its an odd choice because the scooterette looks like a toy when she rides it.
I was about to put up this ad here, but I was sure some guy is going to beat me to it.

The latest advt from Set Wet Gels (I think) is quiet good in my opinion.

The track and the way it presents the product is good, with a constant hindi number being played in the background "Oye Buri Nazar Wale, Tera Muh Kala".

I hate that Samsung phone advert (not sure which one since Samsung now has a billion Galaxies in it's phone lineup) where the advert ends with girl taunting the guy "Kyun, aapke paas nahi hai, uncle?"
IMO, Samsung mobile adverts, especially the ones made for Indian audiences, have always been trashy.

I find the ad for Crabtree very annoying.

Initially the wife wants some cheap switches instead of Crabtree and says "a switch is a switch". So her husband, Rajat Kapoor, takes her to roadside tea stall and says, "tea is tea".

I prefer roadside tea stall any day. Awesome strong tea.
In a 5 star hotel, you got to pay 100 Rs for tea. Then you have to put your own effort in dipping the teabag, then stirring milk and sugar before drinking that pale light tea. If you want the waiter to do this for you, you have to tip generously.

PS: all switches in my house are Crabtree :-P

Yes it does focus quite un-erringly on her well defined Glutes
Target segement anyone? By choosing Deepika and the way its been presented its a huge miss . Confusing music adds to make it even more ridiculous.

I love to look @ the lady's expression the end..

On the other hand, I am annoyed whenever the UPA ads are played where kailash kher sings "bharat ke har nirman pe haq hai mera" Can't bear them!

I love this advertisement because of the song. Especially the English version.

Thumbs down Tata indica ad

I found the latest ad with Indica hitting the hay bales fallen from the truck in front of it to be very very lame and conveying a wrong message.Instead,if they had shown an indica swerving to avoid the hay bales by incorporating ABS+EDB it would have been in the right sense. By this, the wannabe Superman's on the roads will get itchy behind the wheels of the indica. Not to mention the indica cabbies, who will get a shot of adrenaline when they recollect this ad when driving on roads.

Grow up TATA

I think the new Hero ad with Ranbir Kapoor playing a James Bond-esque super-spy type chap on-the-run-from-evil-Russian-Mafia-war-lord-with-PYT-in-tow, a very stupid ad.

Well it does nothing for me and despite the eye candy in the form of the PYT it is a poor ad!

That isn't an exception. Most ads from Hero Motors are/were. Save for Hrithik Roshan being replaced by Ranbir Kapoor.

Maybe the masses at which it is directed at love it

I am just thankful that Hero motors have moved on from lousy graphics with disclaimers not to imitate the same!!

Wait, did you say PYT? where?? They could have at least shown her properly, like the Deepika Padukone ad. If not the product, at least the ad would have stayed in mind

+1 to that. None of the bikes featured in that ad produce an exhaust note like shown in the same.
