| BHPian | Daily office commute is 25Kms (round trip) = around 500+ Kms Weekend drive varies so maybe 120Kms in a month. So usually some where in the range of 600 Kms / Month. Mostly car, if spirits are high/or too low I take bike. However the whole equation changes "If" I have a trip to my native. Trip to home = lot of driving. So in a single trip to my home town I usually clock my entire month's "range" in the matter of 1-2days.

| BHPian | about 1600 to 1700 km per month for me. Its not the petrol/LPG bills that kill me. its the stupid Mumbai entry/exit points tolls that kills me. bloody 1200 bucks every month on crossing a stupid non existant boundry.

| I generally don't use my bike/car on weekdays. I use the office van for commuting to Electronics City since driving on Hosur Road in peak hour traffic is very risky and strenuous. I use my rides only on the weekends. My monthly running (car and bike combined) would be less than 400 kms. If we are also considering the distance traveled on foot (morning jogs/evening walks), you can add another 150 kms to my monthly mileage. ![]() With the kind of traffic situation we have in Bangalore, I always prefer to walk rather than use the bike/car for short distances. It keeps you fit, plus you don't have to worry about the traffic cops / traffic jams / red lights / parking space. ![]() Rohan, Bangalore

| BHPian | I do 1250km/month (approx) in my Honda city for home-office-home. Other car (Wagon R), use it only on weekends if I am going for work within city, so probably ~350km/month

| I do about 7000-8000km a year on each of my cars. While the Accent is 80%+ highway the Santro is 100% local.
