All dams will displace the people & their livelihood which they have been used to since centuries..
But dams are beneficial...
Rehabiliation is always a tricky issue...But with these well sponsered NGOs backed by foreign money..any protests the NGOs make..it is bound to get English Media coverage..
The Narmada dam is a MUST for the larger good of the larger populace..it should go ahead...
Just treat protests by various NGOs/ Greenpeace...et al as mosquitoes who need to be dealt with..

Since you say that dam is for good and it should go ahead, why dont you adopt 10 families and rehabilitate them? You will be facilitating dam construction by removing opposition to it.
Would you like to stand upto your words?
