5 low intensity ones and 6th one diffused. Please take care and be safe, thought its not very serious like the earlier attacks.

Sounds like a mischeif attack by home born miscreants rather than full blown terrorist attack.

Hope everyone on T-BHP and others as well are safe!

Phone lines working in Pune, just spoke to 4 of my friends there. It seems all are low intensity ones. Thank god for that.

Thank god it's not a terror attack but still very sad and scary!
If it's just a 'mischief' attack - what has our country come down to ?

Unhappy Re: Serial Blast rock Pune, one injured

I hope this ends as a mischief attempt and we dont hear/witness some thing more deadly in the the coming days. Remembering the German bakery incident still gives me jitters.

Spoke to few relatives in Pune and alls well with them although my Bro in law was out near Deccan for the Rakhi gifts, he returned home on time.

Black Hawk down..!

The cops, Riot control force, National guards, bomb detection squad, et al, had cordoned off JM road after 8.30 last evening.

My mom, wife and kid were stuck on JM road for a good three hours at my in-laws' who stay bang on JM road. They were in the area during the times the blasts took place and took respite at my in laws' place.

Couldn't reach there to bail them out and had to wait till almost 11. By that time the situation was under control. I was with a good friend and Tbhpian. We requested the Police inspector for permission to drive off with my mom's car which was stranded on JM rd.

We could see Fire Tenders, Riot Control Vehicles, lots of police vehicles, bomb detection squad vehicles, ambulances and of course, lots of media vans, on JM road. The special forces had sealed off all the exit and entry points, to and fro, to JM rd.

My friend drove the other car with my mom. On the way, they also picked up my dad who was also stranded on prabhat road after finishing a meeting. Whilst I rode back home with the wife and kid in my car.

It is very unfortunate that Pune city, among others, is also included in the list of terror mongers.
Be careful, everyone out there..

And yes, special thanks to my mate.

One rescue mission this was eh!

Indian Mujahidin??? i highly doubt it looking at the sequence of events happening after Anna's fasting. How can we blame it to any terrorist group without even doing preliminary investigation. No body will believe us if we always put blame on pakistan and terrorists.

An evening outing took the wrong turn!

Was with a couple of friends having some good time, when the news spread like wild fire. All possible theories and conclusions began to be drawn by our intellectual junta.

A word for the authorities though. The way they handled the situation on JM road is applaudable. They made sure that all were escorted out safely and then cordoned off the area.

Sad state of affairs, these.

From what I read today, its a tailor who has done this as a part of mischief. Atleast that is what police is probing ( in that direction ).
I'm now really scared to even use public transport after the resurface of blasts.

While this might be wrote off as a mischief stuff, by no means were these things "fire-cracker" stuff. It was also earlier reported that the timers, etc. were similar to what was used in Gujarat.

To me, this was just a trial or something. Yes, I am a bit more serious, but definitely its not a normal activity.
Hope everyone is safe.

^^^^
This definately does not look like a mischief, looks like a well planned, well synchronised affair, this seems to be a sign of indicating "Welcome new Home Minister, see what we can do", no mischief monger is going to buy two new bicycles just to play such mischief.
