Do not worry.

from their website for the Pune gig:
I would very much recommend the following:

Black Rock Arena
-------------------

Kryptos
Them Clones
Bombay Metal Project
Indus Creed
Brahma

Dewarists stage
-----------------
Thermal And A Quarter
Clinton Cerejo (today, so not relevant any more)
The Raghu Dixt Project and Friends (today, so not relevant any more)
Trilok Gurtu
Karsh Kale Collectiv

Fully Fantastic stage
------------------------
Peter Cat Recording Co.
The Supersonics

Eristov Wolves Den
--------------------

esss! The lineup for today is perfect:
Talvin Singh
Pentagram
I really don't know the acts on this stage, but spent 10 min here in Delhi and felt awesome, except that, you know, i like my rock.

Same goes for the Other Stage (Vir Das's Alien Chutney is good) and the Dub Station - sounded really good, but I was busy elsewhere.
----------------
So all in all I think not a bad lineup for 3 days of music at Rs.3k.

But yes, I do agree, with such a thread, a lot of us do get updates on important gigs, that one would otherwise miss.
Thanks for starting it
Thanks for the update on the missing thanks button. As Noopster mentioned, it looks like we are spoilt for choice. There are so many gigs happening and I guess we wouldn't have known about it but for this thread.

Bumping this thread. GNR is to perform live in Mumbai,Bengaluru & Gurgaon in Dec.I really wonder whether they would actually come in Mumbai as rock concerts have been cancelled in the past.

Just bought the tickets No ways I'm going to miss Axl Rose. Last saw him perform live at Boston in 2002-2003.

Any other BHPians going?

Lucky you. I love Axl Rose too. His antics, red bandana, jean shorts and nasal voice is a class apart

Hope they play my favorite song from G'n'R....Civil War

Have fun !!!

Crazy show yesterday! Crowd management was top class and, because we reached early, our group was ~20 feet away from Axl Rose. They performed for quite long too. I remember Jovi being on stage in Mumbai for a little over an hour. G N' R performed for 2.5 hours!

Axl & Dizzy were the only crew members from the original group. But as long as Axl was singing - and he did sound exactly the same as 20 years back - they were "The GNR" for us. DJ & Richard played mindblowing guitar and last evening had all the favourites - Sweet Child of Mine, November Rain, Don't Cry, Civil War, Estranged, Knockin' on Heaven's Doors etc. They also played some new tracks, two of which were outstanding (including a ballad).

Axl is 50 years old and does look it . It was a little funny to see a pot-bellied double-chin man singing Sweet Child of Mine. While he kept the crowds captivated, his moves were much slower & less fluid than the Axl we know from youtube videos.

A sunday evening well spent.

Default Weekender NH7 Bangalore

Weekender NH7 Bangalore my 1st Music concert and I enjoyed to the core.

Day 1 was spent at the Black rock arena for the Parikrama gig, Day 1 ended with the Dub station DJ Su real and the Reggae Rajah's, with some superb music.
Day2- The Raghu Dixit Project and the Indian Ocean at The Jack & Jones Other Stage

Overall total paisa vasool.

Only gripe was the venue was way out of the city and getting a transport to the from the venue was expensive with only cabs available.
