What do you guys think about stripes on my car? (C6 Corvette)

I am considering black racing stripes like these stripes on the blue C6. Please let me know what you think?

btw I have a Black C6, you could goto my garage to see the pics..it has black wheels and at the same time i was thinking of getting a nice tint..

haha! why is everyone so confused, did I word the Q so wrong?

I have a Yellow Corvette, I want to get Black Stripes, in the picture above the Blue Corvette has white stripes...I want the same style of stripes but in black for the yellow car that I have. I just threw in the detail about my black wheels since that should give you an idea of how anything black looks with the yellow car...to help you out, here is my car...

Anyways, u could always paint ur car blue and have those white stripes and alloys That blue Corvette looks really cool like that.

And did you consider silver stripes? Or red? Red for sure will look good. But on the other hand, black stripes would look way cool with the black alloys! And definitely dark tints!

Its more of a racing car trademark. Mostly seen on vipers, mini coopers etc. You cannot put Kanji characters or a dragon on an american car can you? If you do a google search for decals, auto graphics, or stripes, you will find loads of sellers. Check out some decals here.

Where are you getting the decals from? Are you going to clearcoat it after applying the stripes? My buddy get stripes on his Mini cooper, and I can see that the thin stripe by the bigger stripe has broken/peeled off after a few washes.
Have you considered magnetic decals? I have seen one on a Miata, and it looks cool.

Anyways, do post some pics after you get it done. It think it is going to look awesome.

I'd suggest against the stripes. If it were a blue or black C6, I wold have said go for silver stripes, but not with yellow one (even if you are considering black stripes)

I feel it would look just a lil bit too awkard.

Leave the car as it is, it looks brilliant with the black wheels.

black stripes would gel well on yellow..... specially that you have black wheels too. get a dark tint too...

Like islero I too think that black stripes on yellow isn't as great as the car you have shown in post1...Silver on blue or black would look great!

Infact I maybe the only one who think this but I do not like the black alloys either.....Bright yellow sports car with usual alloys does it for me.

But its just what I think would look good, most people seem to agree with you :-)

A blue vette would look good with Silver or Grey stripes. The RIGHT shade of Yellow would look good too, but the wrong shade will really screw it up.

A yellow car, on the other hand, looks best without stripes or decals. Whatcha doing with so many 'vettes?

I know a lot people are skeptical, but my wife says since its reversable , just go for it...I know that i have always liked plane jane cars, nothing done to it, except may be wheels and all and thats what I had planned to keep it at, but I have started to think, I need to take some chances and especially when my decisions arnt that expensive and reversable..

the guy promised me that they can be removed without affecting the paint, so if this is the case, I will go for it and try it out for this summer..

just give it a little taste of what it might look like..I looked at a Viper..here it is..
