Default Monsoon Woes - how to escape!!

Dear All,

Monsoons have started in Mumbai, and I was just wondering if we can start a thread for Mumbai, which fellow bhpians/guests can update regularly, so that we can know the status of flooding, traffic jams ect in different areas of Mumbai and nearby places.

For e.g. if I am stuck at some place in Mumbai or nearby area, I quickly update the thread and fellow bhpians/guests who are checking the thread regularly can be alarmed according and possibly take a different route.
In a situation like July 26th last year, I think this will help us a lot.
i have seen the other thread about monsoon, but i think this idea is different, so posted new thread.

Mods, can we do something like this??

How can you update a thread when you yourself are stuck somewhere?
Unless you have some connection.
Instead we can give details about some area that flood regularly, and if possible we can even give deatils about holes on a particular road!!!!
Also we can try to get a safe route from point A to point B.
eg:- Bandra to Andheri,etc.. dont go by this X road it gets flooded most of the time Use Y....blahblah...
What do you think???
