This morning I checked out the morning BT to find a green car on the front page ... It was the new Dew car made by DC.

Heres the pic

Pathetic. I never read the Bombay times (too much page 3 crap), and am especially glad about not reading it today in particular.

Yuck yuck yuck

It looks like a beefed up jeep from somewhere down in South America belonging to some Pinochet or some Castro.

As for BT, all i can say is... have money will cover story. Apparently, all those chics on the front page that you see everyday covering some product or the other is paid advertising. Costs anywhere in the region of Rs. 7-12 lakhs an insertion!

Yes you can tell whether its a "ad"vertorial by looking for a small "m" with a circle around it. In the top right corner of the photo article on the front page.

Last I heard, a fat loss company (belonging to a friend) got it for Rs.40000. Not 7 lacs.

Hahaha looks like ur friend got a real good deal... lemme guess, he gave half of those fat asses at TOI a weight reduction programme for free thrown in...

I believe what you said pal, BT can really sometimes fall to any lengths to fit a story into its 8 pages. Last heard, they were chasing a big time creative director of a huge ad agency known for its creativity for a story. Seems that they kept calling him the whole day, begging him just for an appointment. Lol.

What i don't understand is that when "DC-Designs" has all the hightech CGImaging softwares with them, can't they make a car that's sensible and practical??

What they're trying to do is to get the attention of the younger generation, but this isn't what we want.

Regards...

DC believes what he's doing is right. That's why.

Of course it was there ! While you were up shopping in The Loft I happened to see it there on a truck. That thing had bigger tyres than the truck.
