Exercised Franchise first thing this morning

....So that I can retain my right to fret about bad roads, poor taxation, ill managed traffic, rampant corruption, foggy winter mornings, hot summers, neighbour's dog's poo on my door step and virtually everything else I don't like

Couple of things to remember,,
No cell phones or any electronic device allowed inside the polling booth.
No parking around the area.
Carry Voter ID and Voting Slip for an easy exit.

Cast my vote at 9ish in the morning. A queue of about 15 people that took ten mins to clear. Quite seamless, as it always has been.

The "no cellphone" rule is only on paper though, as long as you are not using it.

Only 17% voting in the first few hours. Hopefully this time people will make an effort to come out and vote. Delhi has always suffered from poor voting turn outs.

Please ensure that you do not indulge in political discussions or which party you voted for etc. Thats a big No No. Also, what is that vintage car in the first post? Hope thats not one of the standing candidate's emblem?

That is a Cord Model 810/812 IINM. We spotted one during our recent visit to a vintage museum.

Thank you sir! Use ful detail
The question was though more about why that car is there in that first post to begin with. What is the relevance?

To make the topic TBHP compatible

Good to see people who voted. However, as per the rules of the forum, please do not get involved in a political discussion & in line with the Indian fundamentals, maintain the secrecy of your vote.

Regards,
Saket

Went around 1 pm and took me 1.5 hours in the line to vote. This was in Saraswati Vihar area.

There was a tight police checking with regard to mobile phones & other electronic devices.

Finally casted my vote.
