RIP GD sir. Although I've never met him but always admired his immense knowledge about the wildlife and cars and life in general. He was a gem of a person. Sincere condolences for his family and may god give his family the strength to accept the loss which has also been a huge loss to team bhp. :(

Was reading his Ranthambore travelogue just a couple of days ago since I plan to do a trip coming December. He had a wonderful way with words and enthusiasm as well. May God give strength to his loved ones to bear this loss.

RIP GD.. You will be missed

Read the shocking news on Facebook today morning. My heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends.

I never met him, but we were friends and in regular touch through the forum and through Facebook, given our shared passion for tigers and wildlife photography. Once I needed some help in Ranthambore, and he responded within a couple of minutes and sorted things out. I was looking forward to visiting the Rajasthan national parks with him this winter.

So full of life and passion. So hale and hearty. So sudden...

Rest in peace Tiger - in the happy shooting grounds you have gone to.

His TL's and love for wildlife will surely be missed as surely as his sense of humor. His photos brought the national parks to our screes. RIP Sir and condolences to the family.

Terrible terrible news. The first thing on team bhp that I read today is about the untimely demise of our dear Guruduttji. The most humble human being I have interacted with on this forum. In fact I was looking forward to meet him in the team bhp meets. Guess it was not meant to be.

The only person who specially took time out to send me information on my email when I was a newbie and could not receive a PM.

Indeed it is a great loss to the forum and to this world. God bless his soul! You will be truly missed Guruduttji.

Unhappy Re: R.I.P gd1418

What a shocker. Only the good die young. Last memory - Rakesh Automobiles, Gurgaon, and he helped me buy Agra Pethe. BCG kindled in me the love for wildlife, and also SUVs. I still have conversations with him etched in my mind. An ace sharp shooter, wildlife and motoring enthusiast, BCG was an entrepreneur who leaves behind a lovely family. May his soul rest in peace, with the tigers he deeply adored.

Cheers,

Jay

This is such a tragic news.

I was an avid follower of his travelogues, chasing the tigers.

He was a senior knowledgeable Scorpio owner, he always responded with useful tips and know how whenever I asked for help on the Scorpio forum.

Wonderful person, I am sorry I never met him in person.

Rest in peace BCG, and God Bless your family.

Regards
Damu
