I think the key here is to maintain the wicket. Even if the run rate is a bit low, maintain the wickets for the first 150 odd runs and then start hitting! I'm all excited to watch the second half!

WatsApp fwd predicted India win by 94 runs, which is only possible if India scores 94 runs more than the D/L par score at rain interruption which no one wants.
So as the WatsApp prediction gone for a toss in both the SFs I badly want my prediction of team batting first winning also going for a toss. Anyways I alsi predicted that India can chase down anything and its a batting wicket and Aussies were clearly looking under pressure as its their home match.
I was thinking that Dhoni should've played Axar in today's match bit then thought that Jadeja's batting skills may come handy if situation comes to that and he is a leftie so could hit crucial boundary or six, lets see.
I genuinely feel that India should be able to chase it but Aussies won't go down without fighting tooth and nail.

India chased 359 against AUS in Jaipur but that was a flattest of track and that match was a casual one, I don't think that any of the Indian players would be remembering that in serious context, it was a farce. If we make our fast bowlers bowl on such Indian pitches regularly, no wonder they all have poor statistics.

Chasing 300+ in a ODI series game and 300+ in a WC knockout are not the same thing at all.

This is not going to be an easy chase to win. This like a 350+ total since Aus will save about 20-30 runs with their superior fielding.
If India win it will be a great achievement

Well if any Indian team can chase this total, than it is this one. Why? Because this team does not get worked up. Every player plays his game regardless of the bowling team. And that just might work in our favour today. Right now the openers are batting decently. And the dropped catch by the Aussies is just making me believe that it is our day today.

Edit: Dhawan just threw his wicket there. Thats the difference between the players that have come through IPL and the rest. He was playing so well, had got a great start and just like that let the Aussies come back.

Kohli is also gone. Looks like he's completely out of his form. 78/2, 15.3 overs.

Looking at our batting depth, our middle order is not so experienced as the Aussies with some exceptions here and there!

Let the best team win! Let it be a good game in the finals! If Australia were to make it to the finals, I would definitely want NZ to win AUS hands down!

That's the problem with the T-20 brand of cricketers, not knowing when enough is enough.

Dhawan did all the hard work, then needlessly tried to accelerate harder instead of consolidating. Crash, bang, gone!

Virat looked tentative, but that's what an extra yard of pace can do. India need cool heads now to see the middle overs out.

Totally irresponsible shot selection from both Dhawan and Kohli. They threw their wickets.

And great camera work by the director there. Shows the lady and our man chucks his wicket away

Some international conspiracy this.

What sort of idiot does that now? Two down, trying to intimidate an on-song Mitchell Johnson, hits one for six, cleaned up next ball. India are bottling it all on their own.

All they needed to do was wait for Faulkner and Maxwell to come on, but who has the patience. Did they get cheap deals on airfare?

Edit: FOUR down now. No stomach for a fight, and this is supposed to be the best chasing team in the world.

Folks, It's all over. I don't think Dhoni can pull India out of trouble. Bye Bye India. Hope to see you in 2019.

C'mon guys !

We played well this cup. An unbeaten run to the semis, only to be defeated by the almighty Australia. We would have taken this before the cup started, right ?

Well played team. MSD is and will be remembered as a champ in ODIs !!
