I am shocked to hear this news.
I have met him only twice and what an awesome personality he was. During my 4 years of fortuner ownership i have talked to Harish umpteen times. In fact he was the one who coaxed me to write the ownership review of my fortuner. He was just a phone call away. Each time i came back from a trip and we would discuss the performance of the car at length.
I could sense something is wrong when the updates on Admiral stopped coming. For the last fifteen days wanted to give him a ring but thought let this target year end in March and will chat then. And now this tragic news.

May God give strength to his family to go through this loss.

Feeling a deep void.

Rest in peace brother.

This is a shock!
I have never met him but we have interacted a few times, mainly on books and history. He was very knowledgeable indeed!
May his soul rest in peace...

Shocking and tragic news!
I have never met him but have always been very impressed by his knowledge and witty writing skills. His posts were the main reason I would follow up on the Fortuner threads.

My heart felt condolences to his family. May the lord give them the strength to deal with the loss.

R.I.P Guderian.

Heard the news in an early morning phone call from a fellow SUV lover. Remembering our first meeting passing by his erstwhile office . . . Bet he's checking out some fab SUVs and planning a long drive wherever he is.

Peace? You are not one for peace and quiet Guderian - have a rocking after-life!

This is really sad news. I thought that maybe he was selling off his fortuner when I saw he thread title.

He was a superb individual. We had made a trip to lonavala team bhp meet in this fortuner after tossing for it with my Aria.

Rest in peace, many times thought about catching up on you as we both were in Thane. Never got down to it. Though we saw each other in our vehicles and waved each other many times.

A 21 gun salute to the man that infused some military wit into this forum and inspired so many to do more, with and for, our cars.
Hats off sir.
I am sure you are inspiring people wherever you are.

Stunned ! Stunned !
I was returning from Gangotri & was in Mussorie for the night when I read this- hoping against hope this was not the same Guderian, but... there can never be two of him.
I bought a Fortuner last year after some serious research of maybe a year in which His Admiral thread influenced my decision to a great extent as I'm sure it made to a lot of T-fort owners.
So much so I had mentioned it on the forum & He had so graciously appreciated it. Even on my 10k service I had taken the pictures of the 4x4 front & rear drive shafts greasing which he had so insisted on in his thread.
I was looking forward to attending one of the Bombay t fort meets so that I could thank him in person but it was not to be.
Ahmed's last photograph reveals the genial & versatile personality of the man.
My deepest condolences to his wife & son - if we miss him so much without even meeting him , I cant even imagine how much of a loss this is for them. Words do not suffice.
Rest in Peace ,Sir!

Rest in peace my dear friend. I have no words. No words would do you justice anyway.
My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Admiral.
Countless times we chatted and discussed the Fortuner.. a trip to Leh together.. any impending visits of mine to Bombay.
I always thought id meet you someday.
Little did i know...

Sad news! True to the adage soldiers never die, they fade away. Guderian , like all soldiers you obviously soldiered on without giving an inkling of your own illness. Rest in peace and enjoy the long drive on the other side , a side where all of us will be one day...from a fellow soldier and a Fortuner fan.
