I think you are right and it is 1:24 though nothing is written. A friend who is into it said it is a 1:24 model. It's more of a toy that can be pulled back and then it moves if released. It also makes funny noise when you open the doors. It's made in China, as usual ;-)

I don't have any collection of scale models. But the pictures here are fantastic. I might get hooked sooner or later.

No need. Have patience, Welly has released it in 1/24 and will be available in India soon. Keep checking with your local diecast store (ModelArt I guess) and Hamleys, if there's a store in Bangalore. Hamleys is a good source for decent models like Welly car models and New-Ray aircraft models.

So, basically, do your homework well. Ask questions before you make your initial purchases to get good guidance from the forum members (like you did here, good).
Feel free to ask more questions buddy. TC.
Local research is equally necessary! You can get this in India for as low as 12-13k

If the 288 GTO is the Elite version, then you're one lucky b@$+#*!

That Superbird is beautiful btw. What make? Lane Exact Detail or ERTL?

Are you sure it's 1/18 and not 1/24? The 1/24 Wellys are a bit hard to find.

Wow! You have a nice collection in there! Why don't you upload all the pics to a Picasa album and post the link here? I feel it'd be better to view them at once.
What make is the Superleggera? Looks like AA, going by the neat shut lines.

And do let me know if you ever plan in selling that 288

Superleggera is an AA and the 288 story for sure will let you know.
Here's two more.
1:18 Supra
1:18 DB9
Keeping these cars off dust is the main issue.

Beautiful Montreal.
AutoArt is really superb.

I have a 1:43 Montreal by some other Italian manufacturer but it is nowhere as good as the AutoArt cars.
